On Saturday May 7,2022 a bunch of Rotarians and friends of Rotary set out to paint the entire shelter at Rotary Park, inside and out.
This included Cody Steed and his son and Josh Piascik from Sherwin-Williams Company. They also brought all the paint and materials.
A BIG "THANK YOU" TO THEM.

This is what it looked like before we attacked it!
And, so it begins!

The park was built by the Barre Club back in 1987 near the Barre City swimming pool. and gets a ton of use during the warmer months.

On May 20, 2022 Tom Babic, Ted Goulette & Karl A Rinker removed all the sod around all the blacktop in preparation for seal coating it.

THE FINAL PRODUCT. Tom & Joe did a great job on the seal-coating!
And, we back-dragged the parking lot with a small bucket loaded to fill in some of the puddles.
Joe installs the new sign. A huge shout out to Jeff Blow of Jet Printing Services for the donation of the sign.

The old!
And, the NEW!
