Induction of Stefano Coppola                    Date 06/03/26

It is my pleasure to welcome you, Stefano, into membership in the Rotary Club of Barre. Stefano was proposed by member Tony Campos.

Stefano, you have been approved for membership in this club because we believe you are a worthy representative of your vocation and interested in the service ideals of Rotary (Service above Self).

Rotarians follow the “Rotary 4-way Test,” which is a standard for ethics in all that we do.

                        Is it the truth?

Is it fair to all concerned?

Will it build goodwill and better friendships?

Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

Rotary is founded on the notion that one person can change the world.  In 1979, one Rotarian saw Polio, a disease crippling hundreds of thousands children (mostly under 5) around the world and said we can stop this.  Since then, Rotary, with its partners, has reduced Polio cases around the world by 99.9%.

Another Rotarian in 2000 saw the need for safe, sanitary temporary shelters after disasters and founded ShelterBox, which has provided shelter & other essentials to over 3M
