The Barre Rotary Club joins The World Santa Fund and GenRotary for the fourth year in a row to make Christmas cozier for our community! Raising money to purchase new coats (big thanks to Lenny's in Barre!) for adults and children in need, selected by The Salvation Army. Coats are gift boxed and wrapped, including hand knit mitts and hats, and brought to The Salvation Army on Dec 11th.

Incoming president, Nicole Didomenico puts extra goodies in with the coats in 2020.

Please share in supporting this worthy cause.

The Barre Rotary Club organized a great Saturday Octoberfest at the Vermont Granite Museum in Barre.

Oktoberfest - Vermont Style!
The Barre Rotary Club provided for a taste of some of Vermont's best craft beers, authentic Bavarian food, and the Inseldudler, German Band of Vermont!
In a year that a lot of folks thought the Barre Rotary Club did not hold the annual breakfast on the Aldrich Public Library because of COVID there actually was one.  The only problem was, that only one person showed up!
Picture below is Jeff Dunn at the breakfast on the lawn all by himself.
Jeff is deceased club member, Ron Parnigoni's son in-law. As you might know Ron ran the breakfast for a long time after his big brother, Dick Parnigoni stopped doing it. Jeff always helped before, during and after the breakfast!
Ron got the donations rolling this last year with a large check with the idea that the club could get other donations to make up for the big loss to the library.  Well with Bop Pope's help the club raised $13,180.00 with out the breakfast!
See large check below.
From Left to right, Lauren Polk, Executive Director of the library, out-going president John Steinman, and board chair Nancy Pope.
Total donations over the years to the library are now $309,549.00. The 2019 breakfast was the 36th breakfast on the library lawn and the 46 breakfast overall.
