The Barre Rotary Club recently completed another season running the BOR Concession Stand on Seminary Hill.  This project, chaired by Eddie Rousse, involved opening the concession stand for various events including Black Bear Youth Hockey, Spaulding High School hockey games, public skating, and Barre Figure Skating Club events.
This was a fundraiser/community service project that was well received by the public attending events at the BOR.  Staffed with volunteers from entities such as SHS students, Kiwanis Club, Granite City Garden Club, Barre Rotarians and others, the net proceeds were divided up and Eddie recently distributed $3,000 to the entities who volunteered.  Taxes were paid, including the local options tax to the City of Barre, and inventory was purchased locally from Capital Candy, Inc. MacAuley's Food Service, Hibbert & McGee, and the Granite City Market.

hank you to the patrons who tipped generously and supported the Barre Rotary Club throughout the winter season!
