Studio Arts Place - “Honoring 20 Years of Community Enrichment by SPA”

BIO: Sue Higby, Executive Director, Studio Place Arts (SPA) Sue has been the Executive Director at SPA since February, 2003. Sue brings more than 35 years of nonprofit management, communications, marketing and program development experience to SPA, with 16 years of experience at national research institutions and environmental nonprofits located in Washington, DC, including the National Council on Science and the Environment, Resources for the Future, and The Nature Conservancy HQ. Additionally, Sue provides extensive community service to Barre City, for example, serving as Chair of the Civic Center Committee; by creating and managing the Stone Sculpture Legacy Program and the Art Stroll; and past service on the Barre City Council (Ward 1).
