Rotarian of the Month
President Nicole announced Bruce Fisher as Rotarian of the Month. He is moving to Swanton. Among his contributions, Nicole noted:After Dark organizer; Club Administration; and meeting at the Wayside mentoring her with wisdom and from his experience as a member of other clubs. Eddie appreciated his experience and knowledge and Caroline spoke of his “being everywhere,” from the Granite Museum to cooking up hot dogs at the mural opening. Karl said that he was involved in the Cookout and Oyster Tasting, the mural and the Rotary closet. I thanked him for his legacy of Since Last We Met, now incorporated into the weekly Secretary’s Report. Tony summed it up with: “He is a true Rotarian.” President Nicole then presented him with a set of household products, Better Life, to start anew in Swanton and, of course, tan beer. Rotarians showed their appreciation with a warm round of applause.
Note
The rest of the meeting was devoted to club business as part of the Club Assembly. Those minutes will be sent to you a few days before the next Club Assembly.
