Blessings and Happy Dollars
After the Pledge of Allegiance, Acting President Eddie asked if there were any gratitudes. DG Caroline rose to express blessings on our club, individuals and on others to whom we have bestowed blessings. Bob Pope was next with a “jaw-dropping” fifty dollars for those who had the vision for projects while he maintains his “fuddy-duddy” attitude. He admires those such as
President Nicole for her Pie for Brunch, Karl for the Barre Art Splash and DG Caroline for the Mural Project for “making it happen.” Joe followed up with a Happy Dollar referencing the “keep it short” adage; “Bob’s was long, but nice.” DG Caroline was back on her feet with two Happy Dollars for all those club members who have helped her prepare for the District Conference.

After Action Report
Yours truly conducted an After Action Report for the Pie for Brunch event. An AAR consists of three questions: 1) what went well; 2) what needs
improvement; 3) what are some suggested changes for next year. Each set of questions is applied to various aspects of the event, such as advertising, space, food, information materials, etc. Because of time constraints, some topics received less attention. However, DG Caroline took superb notes and was able to organize them in an effective and useful way. President Nicole will review the findings and file them for reference next year.
