Lieutenant Dangerous: A Vietnam War Memoir

Please join author and cartoonist Jeff Danziger when he presents on his newest book:  Lieutenant Dangerous: A Vietnam War Memoir.  Mr. Danzier served in the United States Army from 1967-1971 as an intelligence officer and linguist during the Vietnam War.  Mr. Danziger was awarded the Bronze Star and Air Medal in 1970.  In 1971, he began teaching journalism and expository writing at U-32 High School.  Mr. Danziger worked for the Christan Science Monitor between 1987-1997.  As of 2009, he has been published by the Los Angeles Times Syndicate.  Mr. Danziger is the recipient of the Herblock Prize and the Thomas Nast (Landau) Prize. Mr. Danziger is known widely for his political cartoons, and has previously published eleven books of cartoons and one novel.  He contributed recently to the Barre Art Splash by painting art item Algonquin J. Katz.
