Sue Higby, Executive Director, Studio Place Arts
Sue has been the Executive Director at SPA since February, 2003. She served as the Chair of the Board, a member of the Board of Directors, and as a volunteer during the start-up phase of SPA. Sue brings more than 35 years of nonprofit management, communications, program development, budgeting, and marketing experience to SPA, with more than 16 years of experience at national, research institutions and environmental nonprofits, including the National Council on Science and the Environment, The Nature Conservancy, and Resources for the Future, located in Washington, D.C.
